Our company specializes in nearly all matters concerning Church Real Estate, including religious, nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations. We are a father and son California church for sale team, having offices in both northern and southern California. Over decades of carving out a name for ourselves among church groups, we found a niche with locating and/or uniting church property buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants. Along the way, our skills have been fine-tuned covering all aspects of forming, maintaining, merging and dissolving nonprofit organizations and the establishment of federal and state tax-exempt status. We have even set up a few foundations.
Over the years, we have represented numerous small individual nondenominational churches, on up to major worldwide religious organizations. As a result, we have maintained exclusive relationships with our clients regarding all their real estate needs. In addition, we have generated long relationships with secular and parochial schools as they either expand or cease to operate.

Through our close interactions with church congregations, we have also assisted individual members to buy or sell their real property, assist with landlord/tenant disputes, establish wills/trust, and resolve property liens, or right of way/eminent domain threats. Our agreements and experience between church brokers, organizations, and tenants protect our clients from many unforeseen matters, including liability pertaining to things such as Asbestos, Hazardous Materials/Sites, Americans with Disabilities Act, lead-based paint, playground equipment codes, and many other potential liabilities that most churches do not normally consider until there is a problem, or have today’s necessary knowledge thereof. Our agreements have stood the test of time and disputes. Because of this, they meet zealous insurance standards with sufficient liability amounts applicable to specific situations. This often decreases your insurance liabilities and premiums, as well as general liabilities.

I initially contacted Mr. Ryan Bushore as he was listed in Los Angeles Magazines 2024 Super Lawyers to help with estate planning. He is wonderful person. He largely works with churches and non-profits as well as individuals, but the best gift is his heart. After speaking with him for about 20 minutes (after he had already closed for the day!) he advised me to first reach out to a tax attorney as the most economic step to figure out a strategy with the assets. I was most grateful for the consideration!
As he says, "I rather help people avoid a pitfall than haul them out of one afterwards," so he will advise you according to your bests interest.

Worked with Ryan Bushore for a year so far at a church with a huge, yet aging, facility. In the past year I have worked with Ryan, I have found him to be extremely knowledgable in many different aspects of facility management. He is professional and an expert in multiple fields from law, real estate, to construction. Even though his schedule is often packed, he will do what he can to make time for our staff/team as we learn how to sustain an aging property. He is patient with us and will get more than what's required of him done where we are limited - which is why the church is extremely grateful and appreciative of Ryan (although I know the church also has a much longer history and relationship with Ryan's father, Gerald). I know Ryan cares for the church as he would often do what he can first and foremost to protect us from being in a bad position/situation with tenants and the law.
As a ministry (or church) worker, I personally value the person more than just the services they provide. Although I can also understand the business and contractual side of things. Nonetheless, I believe working/professional relationships can have healthy boundaries so we can still minister to professionals serving us more than a mere transaction of payment and service. I understand this is my personal opinion/preference and Ryan probably hold a different view - a stricter professional view - in which case I can also respect and accept.

In all my dealings with brokers and escrow, I have never encountered the expertise and professionalism that I experienced from Bushore. Both the father and son are a wealth of information and they think of everything that you could possibly think of when it comes to doing everything right when it comes to buying and selling property. They also can help write contracts and rental agreements. I was entirely impressed with them in entire process that we purchased church building.

We have worked with the Bushores for over ten years and their assistance and guidance in contract negotiations and selling of our northern parcel of land have been invaluable. The sensitivity they showed to the priorities of a church made them easy to work with. If you need someone to help you with real estate issues, they are the best.

Thanks to the Bushore Real Estate Group, our small non profit found not one but two new homes. Jerry helped us negotiate a purchase agreement for an abandoned church in South Los Angeles which ultimately became home to more than 360 middle school students. Ryan and Jerry helped us negotiate a 25 year lease with an active church in Inglewood. That site is now home to more than 360 students. The second deal was incredibly complex. The experience of the team was extremely helpful in ensuring our interests were protected and our needs met. They worked day and night to make it happen for us! Alison
